"it was 20 years ago the famed Landshark Attacked and killed all the inhabitants of the new metropolis of Bullay and left never to be seen again.
There have been, in some cases in the recent years that people around the world have seen LandShark, but folks these days know, "if you see landshark, there's no way landshark is going to ever let you see the next day."
Though there are rumors that a man they call Captain Jack Swallow has fought and lived against landshark on several occasions. though these reports cannot be fully confirmed.
Our story begins in a small town Ashure, somewhere in Canada...."

CJS:
i dont remember any lakes or rivers near this town... in the middle of Canada.

Drowning guy:

CJS:
ahh shiz, might as well go see what going on, probably some lunatic not taking his morning pills.

(walks over to the scene and finds the guy halfway in the ground..)

what the hell are you doing... in the ground? are you a.....

Drowning guy:
what hell no!, I fell into the ground i think. some kind of hole or something...

CJS:
well lemme get you out then.....wait, you fell into the ground? did you say?

Drowning guy:
yes, i believe so, but im not sure, must have tripped or .......

CJS:
We gotta move fast!, try and move a bit so i can help you!

Drowning guy:
ok im tryng, still hard though.

CJS:
SHIT!

Drowning guy:
WHAT?! WHAT IS IT?

(they stare at each other for a minute and then the guy notices something behind Jack.)

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!

CJS:
....LandShark......

Drowning guy:
GET OUTA HERE SAVE YOURSELF!

CJS:
NO I STAY AND FIGHT IT END HERE NOW!

(all of a sudden the shark appears and pulls the guy down under..)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

(land shark appears)

Why have you come now! show yourself now! SPEAK!

LandShark:
You should know me by now Human, we've battled many times in the past, and i found you worthy enough to keep alive and fool with. you have shown your abilities, this is why you live.

CJS:
what abilities? you demon.

LandShark:
abilities to survive, when others cannot.

CJS:
why not spare that mans life?
why not let him live? why is he no different to you than the others?

LandShark:
because. it was my intention to bring you here to this small town in Canada. havnt you noticed? there arent many people around.

CJS:
so this was a trap. for these past 5 years i've been wandering into a trap.
why?

LandShark:
I am the landshark. I am the terror from the depths of the land.
and your destiny is to forever entwined with mine.

See you not, the paths we have gone. you, me, we cannot ignore the past, and we cannot ignore the future.

I am your enemy, and you are mine.

CJS:
why bother with this bullcrap, why not kill me and and get this over with and do as you please?

LandShark:
because there are other forces at work here.
I used to be something else you see, something nightmarish. I am now what you see. the LandShark you call me. for which i now call myself.

CJS:
what other forces?
gods?
demons?

LandShark:
there are "combined Forces" out there that decide my fate, but not yours. i Choose your fate.

CJS:
Combine..... Been 150 years since the fall of the Combine in our galaxy...

LandShark:
that may be true. there are no longer any Combine anymore, But the Combined...

CJS:
screw it, why don't i just kill you now so i can have a peaceful life until the day i die.

LandShark:
I will not let you...

CJS:
DIE NOW. DIE AND FOEVER BE GONE!

(the two fight for a few minutes, landshark nipping at Jack, jack nipping at shark, but the two dont seem to get a step ahead the other and so they are equal..)

you are still strong is see, faster... but not fast enough..

LandShark:
you to have grown as well i see human.
but you still cannot undo what i have begun.
I leave now. The chase has begun again Jack Swallow.
I am the Landshark Creature from the depths of the land.
I leave.

(landshark leaves the scene and jack just stares..)

CJS:
so it has begun..
The Combine or Combined are back, and Landshark was their creation the whole time.
My destiny as it seems, chooses its own path now..

I will see you again someday..
But that day must wait.

(after a pause or a deep breath..)

This is the beginning of the end..
